US Airways Center Hotels

Formerly called the America West Arena, US Airways Center is a sports and entertainment arena located in Phoenix, Arizona, and is the home to four Arizona sports teams: Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Arizona Rattlers, and the Phoenix Roadrunners. Located near Chase Field, US Airways Center is named after its sponsor, US Airways. The arena is used for basketball, ice hockey, and arena football games as well as concerts, professional wrestling, ice shows, and other events and is conveniently accessed by METRO Rail. With high-rising glass walls, giant video screen, and 14,000 square feet of indoor space, the new pavilion boasts a flexible indoor and outdoor venue with state of the art sound and projection systems, inviting bar area, and impressive facilities for full stage shows. Opened in 1992, US Airways Center became the benchmark for other sports facilities and received every award a new venue of its kind was awarded.
